For me, and for everyone involved with BrainSTRONG, it\u2019s about more than decorations, gifts, and festive cheer. It\u2019s about celebrating <strong>strength, resilience, and determination<\/strong> \u2014 even when it\u2019s invisible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most people living with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) face challenges that aren\u2019t obvious. Their victories and perseverance often go unseen. That\u2019s why BrainSTRONG exists: to shine a light on the invisible, raise awareness, and foster understanding. It\u2019s about turning empathy into action and showing the world that resilience matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we head into 2026, exciting things are on the horizon. Here\u2019s a sneak peek:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>I am BrainSTRONG:<\/strong> Our global initiative invites kids \u2014 and adults \u2014 to make a personal pledge to wear a helmet when biking. It\u2019s about <strong>safety, yes, but also empowerment<\/strong>. By turning a \u201chave to\u201d into a \u201cwant to,\u201d we\u2019re helping people make choices that protect their brains for life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Awareness Walk:<\/strong> We\u2019re bringing back our community walk! It\u2019s a chance to <strong>connect, share stories, and make invisible injuries visible<\/strong>. Every step shows support and spreads understanding in the community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every initiative is about <strong>making the invisible visible<\/strong>. Every story shared, every pledge made, every step taken in our walk moves us closer to a world where resilience is celebrated and ABI awareness grows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This season, I want to thank everyone who\u2019s been part of BrainSTRONG \u2014 whether you\u2019ve supported an event, shared your story, or simply followed along. Your support helps turn awareness into action, and action into change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, as you enjoy the holidays, take a moment to notice strength in unexpected places \u2014 in yourself, your loved ones, and your community. Celebrate the victories, big and small. Reflect on resilience.
