Wearing one, consistently, is the real challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s why \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/brainstrong.net\/i-am-brainstrong\/\">I am BrainSTRONG<\/a>\u201d doesn\u2019t rely on fear, rules, or lectures. Instead, it builds motivation through <strong>identity<\/strong>. Kids gear up because they\u2019re told to. Adults\u2026 not so much. Some hop on their bikes bare-headed, even while insisting their children wear helmets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s textbook hypocrisy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kids notice. They\u2019re not fooled by \u201cdo as I say, not as I do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But imagine this holiday season: a parent opens a helmet and says loudly and proudly, \u201cThis year, I\u2019m leading by example. <strong>I am BrainSTRONG<\/strong>.\u201d That message\u2014spoken or shown\u2014lands harder than any lecture ever could.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Kids faces with names can&#8217;t be shown online<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now here\u2019s where things get even more important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even if someone who&#8217;s under-18 wants to record a BrainSTRONG pledge, we cannot legally show their picture online if it includes their name. And if their city or other personal identifiers are included? Even more off-limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s not just a preference\u2014it\u2019s the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kids deserve privacy. They deserve protection. And we will respect that fully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>So How Do We Encourage Kids Without Showing Them? With Adults.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We can\u2019t show identifiable information about children, so we\u2019re taking a powerful\u2014and unexpected\u2014approach:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We\u2019re going to highlight the adults.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adults will record their own short pledge videos, identifying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the school their kids attend<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>that <em>they<\/em>, as parents, will lead by example<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and that they\u2019ll wear their own helmets because they are BrainSTRONG too<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This flips the script.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of adults demanding safety from kids, adults show accountability to their kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of \u201cDo as I say,\u201d it becomes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cWatch me. I\u2019ll go first.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tracking School Participation (Without Ever Identifying a Child)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s where it gets exciting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because adults can choose to indicate which school their children attend, we can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 Track how many families from each school have adults who pledged<br>\u2714 Create friendly comparisons between schools<br>\u2714 Celebrate the communities leading the way<br>\u2714 Build momentum that spreads from adults to kids organically<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No names. No faces. No identifying information about minors\u2014ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just adults stepping up, loudly and visibly, to create a culture of safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And trust me: when a child\u2019s school shows a huge number of parents who pledged, you better believe that child will feel proud, connected, and motivated to join in (privately and safely).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Gift That Sparks Change<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So yes\u2014ask for a bike helmet. Give a bike helmet.
