Rules, laws, and parents\u2019 voices can trigger that inner-rebel that says, \u201cIf I have to, maybe I won\u2019t.\u201d But brain injuries don\u2019t care about rules. One fall can change a life forever.<\/p>\n<p>In Ontario, kids under 18 are <strong>legally required<\/strong> to wear a helmet when biking. But the law only takes you to age 19. I am BrainSTRONG goes further\u2014it\u2019s about shifting perspective from \u201cmust\u201d to \u201cwant to,\u201d so wearing a helmet becomes a lifetime habit, not just a childhood rule.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>The Pledge<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>It\u2019s short, powerful, and personal. That is approximately 165,000 in Canada. This equals 456 people every day, or one person injured every 3 minutes in Canada. (<a href=\\\"https:\\\/\\\/www.mayoclinic.org\\\/diseases-conditions\\\/traumatic-brain-injury\\\/symptoms-causes\\\/syc-20378557\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\"
